The first taster session was good fun but it was a wake up call to just how unfit I am! I resolved to sign up for a month’s worth of Saturday sessions and see how it went – a few weeks in and I feel that I’m starting to get the hang of some of the exercise techniques and even beginning to see a small change in my level of fitness and body shape. I now feel committed to continuing and getting really fit and have even felt inspired to do some running in between sessions, something I never did before. I like the variety of exercises from boxing to pulling tyres to sprinting – always something different – the session flies and I’m discovering muscles I never knew existed! I love the fact that Bootcamp happens whatever the weather – when you’re prepared to have a go at whatever tasks are laid on – getting wet is just all part of the challenge!
